Vision and Mission
Green Science
Green Science is developing the world's first commercial-scale microwave plasma reactor for solid waste to clean fuels, aligning with the DoE/NETL key technology initiative for solid waste to clean fuels.
With more than 20 years of research and development in microwave plasma technology, Green Science applies an artificial sun reactor approach that is electrodeless, avoids tar formation, and eliminates chimney stacks.
Our Vision
Green envisions a sustainable future powered by innovative and clean fuel solutions.
Our Mission
We lead the clean fuel industry with innovative and sustainable solutions that protect the environment and create a healthier planet for future generations.
Advanced Microwave Plasma Torch
CO2-free clean H2 and high-value carbon products
Only a few technologies are known to produce clean hydrogen and pure carbon black. Green Science's microwave plasma torch system is a central component in the company's clean energy application systems.

BongJu Lee
CTO / Founder
Dr. Lee founded Green Science Corporation in Korea and Green Science Inc. in the United States to commercialize microwave plasma torch technology worldwide.
Dr. Lee has devoted over 20 years to researching and developing the core technology of Green Science through his work in academia, research institutes, and his Korean startup.
Dr. Lee held positions as an Assistant/Associate Research Professor at UCLA/UC San Diego, a Visiting Scholar at Princeton University, and served as a Principal Researcher and Director at the National Fusion Research Institute (NFRI), a nuclear fusion research institute funded by the Korean Government, where he conducted advanced research into the industrial applications of plasma.
One of Dr. Lee's most noteworthy accomplishments at NFRI was his involvement in the successful launch of KSTAR (Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research) in 2007. As the principal designer of KSTAR, Dr. Lee led collaboration with scientists from Princeton University, UC San Diego, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and General Atomics in the United States to create the most advanced fusion plasma facility in the global fusion community.
KSTAR aimed to determine the optimal conditions and recipe for a commercial fusion reactor, which is also known as an artificial sun on Earth.
He has a Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently the CEO of Green Science Corporation and a professor at Handong Global University in Pohang, Korea.
